B33 The Horsehead Nebula
Dark Nebula imaged Jan. 14, 2021
First cataloged by Barnard in 1919 B33 is a huge cloud of gas and dust situated 1,600 light years away in the direction of constellation Orion and located just to the south of Alnitak, the easternmost star of Orion's Belt. This image was made in poor seeing and believe it or not fog and is the result of sixty two one minute exposures. I hope to get an improved image later this month.
Ngc 2174
Bright nebula Imaged Jan. 18, 2021
NGC 2174 is an emission nebula located in the constellation Orion and is associated with the open star cluster NGC 2175. It is thought to be located about 6,400 light-years away from Earth. This is the sum of fourty three one minute images. Updated to sixty eight minute exposure.

Globular Cluster imaged May 16, 2020
This is thought to be the first object to be discovered by Charles Messier. Located in the constellation of Canes Venatici, It was discovered on May 3, 1764.This image is a short exposure of twelve minutes.

Spiral Galaxy Imaged April 16, 2020
The Whirlpool Galaxy, also known as Messier 51 is an interacting grand-design spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici. This was the first image made after rebuilding my scope and before the mirrors were resurfaced. This is a poor image but come Spring, I plan to give this as much time as I can. I can't wait.
